Technical Working Group

As a project of the National Indigenous Knowledge & Language Alliance / Alliance nationale des connaissances et des langues autochtones (NIKLA-ANCLA), the Respectful Terminology Platform Project Co-Leads, Camille Callison, Tāłtān Nation, University Librarian at the University of the Fraser Valley, and Dr. Stacy Allison-Cassin, Métis Nation of Ontario, Assistant Professor at Dalhousie University are grateful for guidance from the project’s Indigenous Advisory Circle and for the volunteer support of librarians, archivists, museum professionals, and data specialists in the Technical Working Group. 

The Technical Working Group (TWG) is comprised of technical experts from diverse professional organizations and memory institutions, including universities, archives, museums, government agencies, and libraries. In consultation with the IAC and Core Team, the TWG assesses comparable research initiatives and defines and tests platforms and workflows to support RTPP’s mandate.
