Camille Callison

Université de la vallée du Fraser

A Tāłtān Nation member, Camille Callison is the University Librarian at the University of the Fraser Valley (UFV) (on leave) and is pursuing a PhD in Anthropology at the Université du Manitoba. Camille was the founding co-lead of the Respectful Terminology Platform Project (2022-2026) and played an instrumental role in its development. She is committed to creating meaningful change related to equity, diversity, and inclusivity in the library, archival, and cultural memory professions. She was the founding Chair of the National Indigenous Knowledge and Language Alliance (NIKLA-ANCLA) et un membre de la Fédération internationale des associations de bibliothèques (IFLA) Indigenous Matters Section, North American Regional Division; IEEE P2890™ Recommended Practice for Provenance of Indigenous Peoples’ Data, and served as a Board member of Canadian Research Knowledge Network (CRKN).
